I picked up pencils as a kid and never let go. They are my passion. I work with pencils because they allow me to achieve fine detail and a wide range of values.

My subject matter is nature, whether it is a traditional landscape or a close-up study. The natural light and the shadows and color changes it creates inspires my work. I strive to capture that beauty on a piece of paper with a tool as humble as a pencil.
